My work is an attempt at representing nostalgia subject to entropy. I want my pieces to appear familiar, but illegible- a fractured memory. The movement and violence present in each piece serves to represent the scattering of images within the mind, and the frustration of childhood iconography rendered obsolete and ripped away. I believe that, with every piece, I get closer to exacting my aesthetic intent.
